General Playstyle:
Aphelios is a champion with a high skill ceiling due to his five different weapons, each with its own unique abilities. He is a late-game hyper carry that can deal massive amounts of damage if played correctly. Aphelios' playstyle revolves around managing his weapons and using the right weapon for the right situation.
Advice on Farming:
In the early game, focus on last-hitting minions to accumulate as much gold as possible. Aphelios' Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle, is great for poking and harassing enemies from a distance, which can help you control the lane and farm safely. Once you get Severum, the Scythe Pistol, you can use its Q ability to trade effectively while sustaining your health.
Aphelios - General Gameplay:
Early Game:
Aphelios starts off with constant poke and harass with Calibrum auto attacks mixed with aggressive Q's. This helps establish momentum in the lane and get an early gold advantage. Once you hit level 3, you'll become more reliant on your Gravitum. This gun is used for kiting, stunning, and slowing. It's useful for disengaging from ganks or if you get caught out in a 1v2 scenario.
Mid Game:
By level 6, you will be balancing all weapons. Infernum is primarily used for clearing massive waves of creeps and procing multiple offhands. Crescendum is exceptionally good when getting caught in melee range as the attack speed can be devastating, especially when getting multiple Chakram stacks.
Late Game:
In the late game, you've hopefully turned into the hyper carry. Your damage has the insane potential to one-shot the majority of squishies, but you yourself are also very easy to be assassinated. You must watch your positioning at all times, just like most ADCs.
Team Fights with Aphelios:
In team fights, try to keep your Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon, ready to engage enemies with your ultimate, Moonlight Vigil. Your positioning is crucial in team fights. Stay in the backline and deal as much damage as possible while staying safe.
Dragon and Baron Objective:
For objectives like Dragon and Baron, Aphelios' Crescendum, the Chakram, can deal a lot of damage. Its Q ability is fantastic for helping take down these objectives quickly. This was Aphelios’ ultimate guide for the latest patch.
